Manuel Antonio Magic: Chasing Waterfall Wonders at Nauyaca!

One of the coolest things to do while you are staying in Manuel Antonio is to explore the Nauyaca Waterfall!

It's a beautiful and unique experience to do in Costa Rica you won't forget.

The tour starts with a short drive from Quepos/Manuel Antonio to Dominical, which takes about an hour.

Once you arrive at the Nauyaca Waterfall entrance, you can choose to take a fun 4x4 ride through the forest to the waterfall, which takes about 15 minutes. We recommend this as the best option.

Alternatively, you can choose to walk to the waterfall, which takes about two hours to go up and 1 and a half hours to return. The walk is a beautiful trek through the forest with stunning landscapes, but recommended for good hikers.

Once you reach the waterfall, you'll have about two hours to enjoy the surroundings. You can swim at the base of the waterfall, take photos, and even jump into the water if you're feeling adventurous. There's also a viewpoint at the top of the waterfall where you can see the two levels of the waterfall from above.

If you want a different experience, you can also do the tour on horseback for an additional US$35. This is a great option for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the forest on horseback.

The price of the tour includes transportation from Quepos to Manuel Antonio, the entrance fee to the park, lunch, and a bilingual guide. Transportation in a 4x4 is also included if you choose not to do the trek on foot. Once you book the tour, you will have to decide which option you prefer.

Nothing like a visit to the beautiful and refreshing Nauyaca Waterfall in Manuel Antonio!
